Does the housing authority have immediate openings?
No. New applicants are selected from an existing waiting list..
Is there a minimum rent?
Yes. A minimum rent of $50 is required per month.
What are the age requirements?
21 or older to apply.
How do I get on the waiting list?
Come to the housing authority office M-F between 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. to pick up an application. Complete the application and return it with the necessary documents and it will be processed.
Are pets allowed in public housing?
Yes, with certain restrictions. Restrictions are outlined in our Pet Policy.
How much will my rent be?
Your rent is based on your income. Tenants typically pay 30% of their income toward housing costs.
